It was a typical IRS race with a good-sized group on a narrow course. The race progressed as usual with people cutting here and there and a couple of breaks that never developed into anything. With 2 laps to go, the real race began and the pace went up and people quit hitting their brakes as they took the corners.
I missed the selection with 1k to go as I was quickly cut off. I took the last corner sharp as always and scraping a cleat. I ended up 10th and just missed contacting the leaders. I was happy with my sprint power, but it wasn't enough to overcome a bad set up.
